We develop Time Credits programmes that meet a range of outcomes for organisations, communities and individuals. We work with partners including local authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health Boards, housing providers, health and social care providers, schools and voluntary organisations to develop place-based Time Credits programmes that meet a range of outcomes for organisations, communities and individuals
Time Credits are a tool that drives asset based working and co-production, and involves new people in participation in communities and services.
We work with our partners to co-design and embed Time Credits into how they engage with people and deliver activities and services.
A Time Credits programme usually has a specific outcomes focus and we will work with partners to identify this.
For example, we might aim to reduce social isolation for older people, address health inequalities for people experiencing homelessness, or increase volunteering among young people.
Examples of Time Credits programme focus include:
Mental Health | Substance Use Recovery | Resident Engagement (housing) | Homelessness | Community social action | Social isolation | Active ageing and independence | Active citizenship and volunteering
The cost of a Time Credits programme relates to the staff resource from Spice needed to design the programme, develop spending opportunities and embed Time Credits in organisations and services. This depends on a number of factors including the size of the programme, innovation needs and if there are spending opportunities in the area already.
