What we do

We co-design and deliver Time Credits programmes in partnership with local authorities, health, social care and housing providers, schools, businesses and voluntary sector organisations.

Time Credits work very simply: for every hour that an individual contributes to their community or service, they earn one Time Credit. This Time Credit can be spent accessing an hour of activity provided by one of our corporate and community partners, or gifted to others.

Watch this video, produced as part of University of Cambridge research, to see a typical volunteer’s journey with Time Credits.

CLIVE, SOUTH WEST WALES

IT WAS LIBERATING TO BE THE MUSICIAN AGAIN

Clive’s passion is music, and he loves to play the guitar, having busked internationally for many years. However, as a full-time wheelchair user, Clive finds it difficult to find opportunities to perform as he says many community venues do not have stages that are suitable for those with disabilities. Clive volunteered to help out at one of our community events, and earned 8 Time Credits in the process!
